Plenty O’Fortune Slot Review

Plenty O’Fortune was impressive before the game even loaded – we recommend you watch the short introductory video as this gives you an insight into the plot behind the slot game. The jolly leprechaun stands in front of a wishing well, minding his own business and drinking some ale, when suddenly, a golden coin throws itself out of the well. The leprechaun spits out his ale and looks into the well and stacks of golden coins emerge from the wishing well and make the leprechaun’s dreams come true.

Playtech are the creators of the Plenty O’Fortune slot machine and it gives Rainbow Riches from Barcrest a run for its money. There are 2 bonus games on offer, free spins, wilds and a big jackpot to get your hands on. With 5 reels and 20 paylines, you can hit a winning combination on a regular basis. No matter what your budget, you can play because minimum stakes start at 0.20 with maximum stakes setting you back a total of 1,000 – the bigger your stake, the bigger that jackpot will be to you.

Bright and Cheerful

Playtech have designed Plenty O’Fortune to be a bright and cheerful slot machine which is crystal clear. The leprechaun stands to the left of the reels beneath a tree and gives a jolly good dance when you hit a win on the machine. A faded rainbow highlights the sky and falls to the back of the reels – so this slot machine could potentially be your pot at the end of the rainbow. Lush green grass and blue skies add more happy feels to your gameplay and the birds chirp cheerfully as the reels spin.

Rainbows, wishing wells, pots of gold, leprechaun, Plenty O’Fortune logo and card values J, Q, K and A can be found on the reels. Paylines are highlighted via golden coins to the left and right of the slot machine. Use the control panel to select your bets, use the autoplay feature and view the paytable.

Wishing for Wins

Rainbow wilds are the key to the big 500x multiplier jackpot – five of a kind and you’ll be jumping over a rainbow with the cash return on offer. If you were to bet maximum stakes of 1,000 a spin, that jackpot would become worth half a million – yes 500,000 in cash! The other symbols on the reels award between 100x and 250x your total stake when five land on your payline.

Failing Features

The bright coloured rainbow is the wild – it replaces all symbols on the reels bar the wishing well, pot of gold and leprechaun to help create winning paylines.

End of the Rainbow bonus is triggered when three golden post land on your paylines. Pick a pot of gold on your screen to get your hands on some cash. The leprechaun will talk to you, raise his hat and progress through the paths as you pick your cash pots. Keep going until you hit a cash amount with the word ‘collect’.

Three or more wishing well symbols on your reels will trigger the Wishing Well bonus. The leprechaun will stand on the reels and collect the coins that pour out from the wishing wells in view. The meter to the top of the reels will add up your coins.

The jolly leprechaun awards you with 12 free spins, but he will need to fall on reels 2, 3 and 4 first. Three special symbols are added to the reels and for each of these symbols that appear, you will be awarded with the following cash prize:

• Golden coin is 5x your total bet
• Silver coin is 2x your total bet
• Bronze coin is 1x your total bet

Lucky to Get Wins?

You don’t have to be a lucky person or need to bet big to get some decent wins from this slot machine, because during the End of the Rainbow bonus, our small 20.00 stake returned us 420.00 from three simple picks. During the Wishing Well bonus, if you triggered it via 4 wells, the average return is twice your stake – but five wells will usually return 10x your stake.

We found Plenty O’Fortune to be a medium variance with wins regularly falling during the base game.
