Also, in a similar vein to the prior Highway Kings Pro slot game, this newest version has a wild and scatter symbol to keep the game interesting, along with a few free spins for good measure. Allowing you to speed down the highway at a rate of knots, the following looks at why Playtech may have landed yet another smash hit in Highway Kings Pro!

Upgrading to a Brand New Model

Looking at the core credentials of Highway Kings Pro, the medium variance game is set across 5 reels and 9 paylines, and you can choose a coin value between 0.01 and 100.00. On the last game, you could only bet a maximum of 45.00, but on this new game you can spin up to 900.00, which is a whopping figure to say the very least.

Adding to that, this sequel improves upon the original design by offering up more impressive graphics and more bonus features. The payline on the new game pays both left to right and right to left , and the RTP is increased to 94.99%. Improvements across the board are making Highway Kings Pro a force to reckoned with.

Put the Key in the Ignition

A video introduces you to the game, showing a red truck doing doughnuts on a road with a driver screaming “Yeah!”, honking, and ushering you into the fun in his thick Southern accent. You’ll recognise a large number of the symbols from the last game, but now they all look a little less cartoonish and a little more realistic. There’sigina also a more complex control panel located at the base of the reels where you can choose tabs like ‘Bet Max’, ‘Auto Play’, ‘Spin’, ‘Win’, ‘Total Bet’, ‘Line Bet’, and ‘Lines’.

Big Trucking Action

Much like the first game, the best symbols in the game are the three trucks. Once again, the real winner is that red truck, with a payout of 10.00 for two, 50.00 for three, 500.00 for four and 10000.00 for five. There’s also a fun new symbol though, which takes the form of a pair of red gas pumps. It pays 5.00 for two, 25.00 for three, 250.00 for four and 5000.00 for five.

It could be argued that the first Highway Kings Pro felt a little restricted as far as payouts were concerned. As such, we’re happy to see that Highway Kings Pro has gone a long way to solve this issue.

Power Under the Hood

While the first incarnation of Highway Kings Pro was a little lacking in terms of special features, the designers have made up for it with the sequel. Playtech has added in a wild (the trucker) that can substitute any low value symbol in the game. The scatter symbol is a woman trucker. It doesn’t have to show up on an active pay line to pay out 5.00 for three, 10.00 for four and 100.00 for five.

The bonus is represented by the checkered flag symbol that only appears on reels one and five. If you land it on both, you’ll see the Truck Racing Bonus be activated. In this mode, three trucks will appear, representing 3 free spins that are to follow. You have to choose one of the vehicles, which can help you claim between 10 and 25 free spins. Once you do that, three speedways will appear. You can then choose the track you want your truck to race on, then watch it take place.

Highway Kings Pro Has the Need for Speed!

Highway Kings Pro could probably be classified as something of a sleeper hit for Playtech, to the point where a full-on sequel was pretty much unavoidable. We welcome the new features that have been added to make an excellent sequel to an already great casino slot. With gameplay and graphics improved, you definitely don’t want to miss out on Highway Kings Pro.
