Lucky Diamonds Slot Review

The reason traditional slot machines are overlooked, is because modern day slot machines offer much more in terms of features, bonuses and payouts. But we love retro slot games as they allow you to take a trip down memory lane and enjoy some superb gameplay without too many features to distract you.

Play ‘n Go are the creators of the Lucky Diamonds slot machine and they have a handful more of these retro slots waiting to be played. Other titles offered include; Mystery Joker, Gift Shop and Wild Melon. There are 3 reels and 1 fixed payline to this slot machine, meaning that wins will have to drop into view on the middle line. Bets can be placed from as little as 0.25 up to a maximum of 15.00 as you hunt for the biggest payout on offer – the 2,500 coin non-progressive jackpot.

If you are a slots player who loves simple slot games without too many distractions, then Lucky Diamonds is perfect for you. You can access this slot game via desktop, mobile and tablet devices without the need of downloading any annoying software.

Simplicity at It’s Best

Royal blues, aqua and pinks are the main colours of this slot machine. When the slot game loads, the reels of the game will be placed to the left of the screen with the Lucky Diamonds logo sitting to the top half of the machine. The full right hand side offers the paytable of symbols, along with the various winning amounts you can get your hands on. There is a column for 1 coin; this shows you the amounts you can win when you bet with just 1 coin. Column 2 is when you bet with 2 coins and column 3 is when you bet with all 3 coins.

The control panel is easy to navigate and understand – you simply click the coin value to set your desired cash amount and then the coin value to select the coins you wish to play. Bet max and auto play are also offered to save you time. Balance, bet and wins are situated to the very lower of the screen along with a message bar.

Traditional symbols can be found on the reels – cherries, single bars, double bars, triple bars, red 7s and diamonds.

Winning Potential

The amount you can win is determined by the amount you play. Three of a kind of the diamond symbols will trigger one of the following jackpots:

• Bets with 1 coin will award 800 coins
• Bets with 2 coins will award 1,600 coins
• Bets using maximum amount of coins will award 2,500 coins.

Red 7s award the second highest payout:

• One coin bet awards 80 coins
• Two coin bet awards 160 coins
• Three coin maximum bet awards 240 coins.

Traditional Features

Lucky Diamonds slot game is a traditional game – so you won’t find any wilds, scatters, bonus games, free spins or gamble features. What you see on the reels is what you get. The diamond symbol can transform wins on the reels though.

Should a diamond fall as part of a winning combination – it will match that other symbol on the payline and double its value. When two diamonds appear on your payline, it will pay 4x that winning combinations value, except when three diamonds are on the payline (this award the jackpot).

Basic Stuff

To be honest, Lucky Diamond is very basic indeed – but you can still win some great cash amounts by playing. If you are not sure whether you like the game – don’t spend you won cash on it, play it in demo mode first.

You don’t have to match three of a kind to win – thankfully, any one cherry awards a prize between 2 and 6 coins, any two cherries awards between 5 and 15 coins plus any three bars awards between 5 and 15 coins.
