You can access Pure Jewels via a desktop only and place your bets from as little as 0.40 or as much as 100.00. There is a maximum jackpot of 200.000 to be won – which is pretty impressive for a non-progressive jackpot slot machine.

Crystal Clear Design

The design of the Pure Jewels slot resembles the popular and addictive Bejewelled game. The screen is deep shades of purple and the logo sits pretty to the top of those reels in purple and vibrant yellow. The reels are separated by amber looking stone – everywhere you look, there are glittering jewels.

Symbols on your reels include; red, pink, blue, purple, orange, yellow, green, aqua and white jewels. Other symbols include a scatter and wild symbol.

Ready for Action

The first thing you will need to do before you can dive into the dazzling action is to set your bets. The paylines are set to 20 in every spin, so the only thing you need to decide is how much you wish to bet on those paylines, so the minimum is 0.02 a payline – that’s a 0.40 minimum bet. Use the adjuster arrows to the lower of your reels to set that amount and then you can start to play.

You will find the various winning combinations and other information relating to this slot machine under the paytable option on your screen.

If you want to try before you buy, Novomatic have created a demo version of Pure Jewels so you can have a good practice, without blowing your cash.

The only jewel that you should be looking out for is the dazzling diamond, because 5 of a kind of these awards the jackpot. Maximum stakes will return a jackpot of 200,000. When it comes to the second highest paying symbol on the reels, that is the scatter – which awards 100,000 for 5 of a kind.

Vanishing Act

Before we go into the various features this machine has (or doesn’t have), we want to explain the tumbling reels feature. Every time you spin those reels, the symbols will fall randomly from the top of the reels to sit in a pretty sequence.

When those jewels fall and create winning combinations, they will explode from the reels and a series of new symbols will drop into place. If those new symbols also create winning combinations, they too will explode and vanish from the reels. As long as they keep dropping in to form wins, they will continue to vanish.

Wild – the glittering wild symbol can transform itself into all other symbols on the reels (except the scatter) to form wins.

Scatter – you will receive a multiplier based on your current stake when you have three or more scatter symbols on your reels.

Gamble – listen to the clock ticking when you get any win on your reels, because this is to show you that you have the ability to double your money in a simple 50/50 game of chance. Click the highlighted gamble button and you will be shown a flashing jewel to the centre of your screen. Either side is red and black – just guess the colour of the next suit of cards to double your cash. Keep going for as long as you guess correctly (up to 5 guesses), or until you guess wrong and lose everything.

Crystal Clear Verdict

We were taken aback when we saw that Novomatic had including tumbling reels to their Pure Jewels slot machine. It’s a feature that can continue to reward players in a single spin – which is what we like to see. The sounds of the jewels falling onto the reels is very therapeutic and when those symbols vanish, the sounds increase which gets your heart pounding.

With the way the reels are set, it is a slot game that is played quicker than normal slots, so you’ll have to bear that in mind when you’re deciding on your budget. For a basic online slot machine with a handful of features, Pure Jewels slot game is attractive, easy to play and offers plenty of ways to win.
