50,000 Pyramid is one of the best loved shows on US television, having launched in its original format in 1973 and continued to attract widespread audiences to this day. In addition to the standard slot machine layout employed by the game, IGT have also faithfully recreated the Winner’s Circle bonus round which is covered in more detail in the Features and Bonuses section below.
Gameplay and Prizes
Upon first launching 50,000 Pyramid, players are presented with a range of options to alter the gameplay to their tastes. The number of win lines in play can be adjusted from a minimum of one to a maximum of fifteen, with between one and five coins on each line. Coins range from $0.01 to $5 in value, making the maximum bet $75 per spin. As the name would suggest, players can expect a maximum pay-out of 50,000 coins for spinning in five 50,000 Pyramid logos with the maximum bet, or 10,000 times their line stake when wagering less than the maximum amount.
Features and Bonuses
50,000 Pyramid is one of the most feature packed slots made by IGT and recreates many of viewers’ favourite aspects of the TV show. Like most online slots, players can make use of the 50,000 Pyramid logo as a wild symbol, substituting for anything other than the Winner’s Circle symbol. The Winner’s Circle is the scatter symbol that can appear anywhere across the five reels. Prizes on spins where the Winner’s Circle symbol appears are multiplied by the number of symbols, and three or more activate the main Pyramid bonus round.
Players begin the bonus game with two free spins and a one-time multiplier, but can increase these by selecting areas of the pyramid itself. Players begin at the bottom of the pyramid, and have five attempts at increasing their bonus prize and unlocking higher levels of the pyramid itself, which contain progressively better prizes. When all selections have been made, the player then proceeds to enjoy their free spins at the chosen multiplier rate.
