Even if you are not familiar with slot games, the rules are very intuitive to follow. The player must land a line of 3 or more identical symbols to receive a payout. There are three different sets of symbols available in the game. The lowest paying symbols are the playing card symbols. The high paying symbols are different types of cocktails. The last set is a collection of wild symbols. Wild symbols are multipliers and there are five different multipliers with different multiplier values each.

The player simply chooses the line bet for each of the separate 20 lines. The smallest line bet is 0.01 (total bet of 0.20) and the highest line bet is 25.00 (total bet of 500). Help Me! Help!

Even though the rules are fairly intuitive, this online slot provides a help feature. The help feature opens up a dark screen with several lines of text. We did feel that this was not the best way to display a help feature and it felt overwhelming to be encountered with large amounts of text. We would’ve appreciated if the game had a popup of slides with images rather than just having several paragraphs of white text on black. We weren’t too upset about this though as the game is fairly intuitive on its own. In reality, most players would not make use of this feature at all.

It is important to note that although the help screen was flooded with text, the info button gave a lot of information regarding the payouts and paylines, all of which were displayed in a graphical and textual format. This, in contrary to the help section, did not feel very overwhelming.

We see various summer activity symbols including cocktails in Summer Smileys whereas in Drinks on the Beach the game only has playing card symbols and cocktail symbols. The background music to Drinks on the beach was significantly better as well.

In Summer Smileys, the players are free to bet a value between 0.10 and 30.00 whereas in Drinks on the Beach the bet values are more flexible and are between the range of 0.20 and 500. Summer Smileys is a 5-reel and 30 paylines game whilst Drinks on the beach has 5 reels as well but only 20 paylines, making Summer Smileys a better candidate for wins. We did enjoy Summer Smiley’s free spins and bonus game feature, which were a lot of fun. The bonus game is triggered by landing a cocktail symbol. Although Drinks on the beach does not have a bonus game, it does offer its players a respin feature and multiple opportunities for multipliers.
