Fantasy and adventure come to life in this intriguing online video slot from Novomatic. Wonderful Flute offers up a selection of imagery, all of which presents players with a satisfying tale of romance, otherworldly lands and vivid creatures – or at least, that’s what we’re telling ourselves, because the theme isn’t specifically altogether clear. The product itself is set across five separate reels and three rows, which offers up a familiar and standard slot game layout to players. On these reels, you’ll find various different character icons. These come in the form of what appear to be both a male and female jester, what could bee considered either a king or a vicar, and what could ultimately be a prince and a princess. Rounding out these icons is a devious looking lady, and the regular A, J, K, Q, 9 and 10 symbols. You’ll also find that while these are animated upon being included in a winning combination, they’re not exceptionally well done, so don’t be expecting anything on a Netent or Microgaming level.

So, okay, there really isn’t anything musical about this product, despite it being called Wonderful Flute, but the special features that have been included are fairly decent within themselves. This starts with the icon of the aforementioned evil lady, who acts as this game’s wild icon. She will substitute for any other symbol on the reels in order to make a winning combination, with the exception of scatters. Should you manage to spin five of these onto the reels across a winning pay line, you’ll receive a pay out of up to $900,000.

In addition to this, there is also a scatter icon, as mentioned. This is represented by the symbol which looks like a set of pan pipes. These pay out regardless of where they appear on the reels, and should you manage to spin three or more of these into view, you’ll be rewarded with a total of 15 freespins of the reels. All pay outs during this round are tripled.

The only other additional extra included in this game is the gamble feature, which is a part of many other Novomatic products. This is triggered at the end of every winning combination formed in the main game, and gives players the opportunity to increase their winnings by playing a side game. Should you decide to do this, you will be presented with a new screen, featuring a deck of playing cards. You simply need to guess the colour of the next card to be turned over, and if you’re able to do this successfully, your winnings will be doubled. Summarising the Flute Game

It’s a bit of a stretch for this game to be called wonderful, and generally, the flute theme isn’t particularly clear throughout it either. It’s a great premise for a game to be based upon, but altogether it doesn’t stand out as being particularly impressive. However, it will offer up a decent enough product in which to spend a few moments spinning.
