You can play from as little as 0.40 a spin. If you want to get your hands on that massive progressive jackpot prize fund, you don’t have to bet maximum stakes of 100.00 in every spin, because every bet option will provide a progressive jackpot amount – the highest being for the maximum bets.

Wonderful Design

Unlike other Novomatic online slots, Rings of Fortune is bright, modern and looks as if it has been loosely based on The Lord of the Rings movie – thanks to the large golden ring that sits within the logo and the golden ring featured on the reels.

Beyond your reels is a fantasy setting of a castle over-looking the ocean, mountains and a glorious blue sky. The reels are black and feature the following symbols; wizard, gold ring, princess, prince, harp, a Celtic symbol and card values 9, 10, J, Q, K and A.

Your paylines are highlighted either side of your reels and the menu button to the right of the reels holds various betting options and the paytable.

Start Your Quest

To the lower of the reels is where you will be able to see your current balance, last win and current bet. Hit that menu button and you will be able to set your desired stake by adjusting the arrows next to the paylines and bet per line options. Autospin is available, but you won’t find a special button for it, you have to hold down the start button to set the autospin feature.

To win the progressive jackpot, you will need to find the wizard – he will need to cover your entire reels to award that eye-watering amount of cash. Five of a kind of the wizards or gold rings will award the same amount of 25,000 – which isn’t to be sneezed at.

Slot Features

To start with, there’s the gamble feature, any win that you will trigger on your reels allows you to gamble. Click the gamble option that will emerge to the left of your reels and you will enter into a new gaming screen.

The timer can get quite annoying when you’re deciding whether to gamble or not, good job you can mute that. By choosing to gamble you will be shown 6 steps with the 7th being the top level where there is a very lucrative amount of cash sitting.

The lower step will be flashing and all you do is click that gamble button again to try and hop to the next level. You can keep doubling your cash as long as you jump up a level – but one incorrect leap and you lose everything.

Three or more scatter symbols (golden rings) will award 15 free spins. During your free spins, if the wizard makes an appearance he will be held on the reels for one spin. The wizard also has the ability to expand over the whole reel for one spin to maximise your winnings. Additional free spins are awarded when you spin in 3 or more during your free spins mode.

The wizard is the wild and substitutes for all symbols found on the reels (except scatter). He can turn himself into any other symbol to complete winning lines.

Summary

Progressive jackpots always get us excited and Rings of Fortune slot machine from Novomatic was no exception to this. When we stumbled upon the slot machine we were impressed with the overall design and the way the slot machine seemed uncluttered.

The sounds that you get with each spin are classic sounds found with all Novomatic slot machines and when the wins appear on the reels, the symbols seem to pulsate to show you how you’ve won.

You can only win the progressive jackpot by triggering the free spins bonus, this is where the wizard has the power to expand to cover the whole reels and then rewarding you with the cash pot that sits to the top right of the slot machine. Rings of Fortune is a medium variance slot machine that has the potential to change your life.
