Arabic culture is usually represented in a specific way throughout the online slots community. There are normally more references to the past than the present. Think Aladdin and youu2019d be on the right track. However, Endorphina have decided to take a different stance with The Emirate, and focus on the here and now.

      The Emirate Slot Review

Arabic culture is usually represented in a specific way throughout the online slots community. There are normally more references to the past than the present. Think Aladdin and you’d be on the right track. However, Endorphina have decided to take a different stance with The Emirate, and focus on the here and now.

Delivered inside a typical 3×5 matrix, only the subject matter seems to be out of the norm. This sense of convention continues when you look at the paytable, for Endorphina have opted for a minimalist variance approach. As they are a newish brand, many expect them to pile on the features, but that doesn’t happen with this slot.

      Eastern Luxury

If and when we talk about a slots appearance, it’s primarily down to how interesting it is – shallow but so painfully true. In the case of The Emirate, the interface is a stunning scene of rich bold colours, with delicate patterns woven throughout most of the colour palette. It looks textured and tangible, making this a sensory experience.

Mixed in with this sumptuous sea of tones, you have the combination of modern and old-fashioned representations: you see a 4×4 vehicle speeding alongside an ornate smoking pipe. Some may say that this aesthetic decision shouldn’t work, but we find that it creates a wonderfully different atmosphere in which to play.

      Higher or Lower

Moving onto the features, there’s only really the gamble option worthy of note, and even then it’s presented in a typical setup. When we say typical we’re referring to the card format that has been seen across the board in slot machines. Some brands do try and mix it up, but it mainly stays the same. It’s a guess the correct card, focused on either colour or suit; The Emirate is about the suit being higher or lower than the card shown.

As you’ve probably guessed, the aim is to always find the higher value card, for then you can carry onto the next level. There are five cards to choose from, all of which are face down, so it really is the luck of the draw. Sadly we can’t inform you how much luck you’ll need, as the brand has neglected to mentioned the RTP, meaning it’s anyone’s guess at this point.

      Golden Pockets

Lining your pockets and wallets with gold is not solely dependent on being lucky, but on what you wager also. The Emirate has a betting system that is linked to the paytable, meaning that as you increase your stake, the paytable values also go up. We see this many times over, and while it can be most enjoyable for high rollers, those pinching the pennies feel the sting.

Your starting bet is 5 credits, which isn’t too bad, however that’ll only offer you a potential return of 5,000 coins for the top playing tile. Compare that with the 50 wager and the win of 50,000 credits, and you soon see why betting as much as you can is the preferred method of playing. We’ll level with you and own up that we only played with the lowest stake, mainly because we don’t have wads of cash to burn, but if you do, then go right ahead.

      Limited Experience

In terms of how well this real cash slot ranks, we’d have to say that it’s a pretty mixed bag, though ultimately The Emirate falls short. This is due to the obvious fact that the paytable is pretty much barren, at least in the way of features; money is good, but interactive gaming is important also. To not include that in a slot machine is to lower the lifespan of the title. However, as this is only a 5 winlines slot, you can be certain that Endorphina didn’t intend for this to be a main event.

We’d play this game again, but more to pass time idly than to be engaged with the content, which is fun on occasion but a lot of the times becomes boring. Once again we’re concluding that a slot machine is a gap filler, a conclusion we don’t like coming to because it highlights how low impact many of these activities actually are.
