This 5×3 video slot game has a high volatility, plenty of fruits on the reels and rivers of melted caramel on top. The rules are simple and intuitive, and the basic options somewhat limited, but Caramel Hot has the potential to seduce old-school gamblers looking for something quick and potentially rewarding. Let’s see how that all translates in our full review of Caramel Hot.

Caramel Fountain

Caramel Hot blends old-school fruits symbols with melted caramel in the background, a simple idea that enhances the graphic atmosphere of the game and gives it a touch of originality. It didn’t take look before we were drooling in front of the screen, just looking at the delicious icons spinning around.

On the practical side, Caramel Hot features a whole selection of shortcuts on both sides and under the reels, ready to help you customise your settings easily. The game’s overall look is clearly old-school, with a modern twist that we really appreciated.

Finger-Licking Good

Start with the side tabs to activate up to 30 paylines in Caramel Hot, while the shortcuts under the reels will help you choose your next wager. With all paylines activated, the betting range goes from 30 to 600 credits per spin, which should satisfy even the most ambitious of players. Use the autoplay game mode to keep the reels spinning, and don’t forget to try the optional mini game after a win to attempt to double up your last payout.

The paytable of Caramel Hot is filled with classic casino symbols, mostly fruits such as cherries and apples and also golden bells, for instance. The top prize in the base game corresponds to 100 times the value of your current wager, which was a bit underwhelming to us. You are going to have to dig deeper and see what kind of special features Caramel Hot has to offer to make up for this modest paytable, relatively speaking.

Classic Bonus Are Always Efficient

The big red 7 is the wild card of Caramel Hot. You can find it anywhere on the reels and it does appear quite frequently, ready to replace the basic symbols and help you score more winning combinations in the process. Combinations of 7s alone can also award special cash prizes, which can go up to x1000. You will need some extra luck to score such a big win in Caramel Hot, though.

The star symbol is a scatter, which can therefore award extra cash prizes in any position on the screen. The top prize corresponds to 6000 times your line bet, the largest reward in Caramel Hot. Besides, the game also includes EGT’s classic 4 progressive jackpots. Check out the counters on top of the game screen and keep your fingers crossed, you never know when one of these big wins will be unlocked.

A Great Options for the Boldest Gamblers out There

Caramel Hot is a great slot game for old-school gamblers and high rollers, players who are not afraid to spend time and credit in a simple game to try and hit the jackpot. We liked the modern makeover and the flowing caramel in the background, not to mention the simplicity of the gameplay.

On the other hand, Caramel Hot could prove to be a little too frustrating to a vast audience because of its high volatility. IGT’s World Cup Heroes was created on a similar template but remains accessible to most players, so it could be a great alternative if you don’t feel like spending too much time spinning the reels in Caramel Hot.
