Containing five reels and 20 fixed paylines, Wish Upon a Leprechaun is jam-packed with bonus features. In fact, there are so many that you are going to struggle to see them all without playing it for a lengthy session. Among those bonus rounds, you will find stacked scatters, wild symbols, multipliers, respins, free spins, and a selection of mini-games to boot.

Did we mention that there is a progressive jackpot to be won on this medium-to-high variance slot? This is Blueprint’s very own jackpot network, and landing five of the Jackpot King is what you will need to do to win it.

Lavish-Looking Leprechaun

A first look at Wish Upon a Leprechaun by Blueprint Gaming is sure to be a pleasant one for most of you, with some stunning high-definition graphics lighting up your screen in bright and vibrant colours. The backdrop features a green field, while the reels have been placed within the leprechaun’s home. You will even see the smiling leprechaun to the left of the screen.

On the reels, you will notice that there are only three standard theme-related symbols – a wishing well, a leprechaun’s hat and a lucky horseshoe. The remaining symbols are 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace. It’s the special symbols you will want to see the most frequently, though, these being the wild symbol, the stacked scatter symbol and the bonus symbol. To learn more about the payouts for each of these symbols, we recommend you check out the handy pay table that will tell you everything you need to know.

Lucky Features Aplenty

If there had to be a main selling point of the free Wish Upon a Leprechaun video slot, it would certainly be the wealth of bonus features. There are ten in total, and that’s not including the wild symbol and the scatter symbols that can appear stacked on the reels. Those ten bonus rounds are split between the Pots O’ Luck bonus and the Lucky Charms bonus, each having five apiece.

Activating the Pots O’ Luck Bonus, which is the main bonus feature on the free Wish Upon a Leprechaun slot, is done by landing the bonus pot symbols anywhere on the first, second and third reels after a spin. Once it does, you must select a single pot to reveal one of the five different bonuses.

These include a Deal or No Deal-type game, a multi-tiered free spins round, another free spin round that gives you 10 free spins with a massive wild symbol on the reels, a bet-on-a-jockey game, and a spin-the-wheel game. Each of these is entertaining to play, and with there being so many of them, there’s plenty of luck and little chance of getting bored.

The Lucky Charms bonus feature is activated before any random spin. When it does, you are once again asked to pick one of three lucky charms to determine one of five other bonuses. Here you can be rewarded with any of the following: a bonus boost that adds more bonus symbols to the reels for the next spin, wilds that are added to the reels before you are given a respin, reels that lock in place, one of your reels turning completely wild, and a spin streak that will hold a winning combination in place before respinning the reels.

Big or Little Luck?

While you will be thrilled with the above bonus features on Wish Upon a Leprechaun, you will no doubt also find the betting range appealing. On this fixed-payline slot, you will always have to wager on each of the 20 lines. This can be done for as little as 0.20 credits, or for as much as a whopping max bet of 500.00 per spin. That max bet will certainly please pretty much everyone, including the high rollers out there.

Another great thing about Wish Upon a Leprechaun is that it offers high levels of compatibility, meaning a game can be accessed and played on a wide variety of mobile devices. As long as you have a browser on your device, you can play this slot to your heart’s content. It has even been mobile-optimised to instantly recognise your device and the size of its screen.

Looking for More Luck?

It goes without saying that luck-themed slots are far from uncommon. In fact, you are likely to find hundreds of them – who wouldn’t want luck all around them when looking for big wins on the reels?

If you do love to play on “lucky” slots, why not try out Rainbow Riches, an online slot by the team of developers at Barcrest? This 10-payline slot is also themed around leprechauns and the luck of the Irish, and it could pay you out a handsome 25,000-coin jackpot. Features you can look forward to here include a bonus round, wild symbols, scatter symbols as well as a fun little gamble feature.

Lady Luck by Gameart is another slot that might take your fancy.

Wishes Come True?

What can we say about Wish Upon a Leprechaun, other than that it has got to be up there with the best slots that we have seen from Blueprint Gaming? With its progressive jackpot, tons and tons of top bonus features, some marvellous graphics, and gameplay that is always fun and addictive, you literally could not ask for more.

Perhaps, the only downside to this slot is the fairly low RTP of 92.56%. This is one of the more commonly occurring features of progressive jackpot slots, though, since the slots obviously have to offset the huge jackpots created. Still, if you are happy enough with that and want some serious fun at the online casinos, Wish Upon a Leprechaun is definitely a slot you should try your luck with.
