Amigos Gold has 20 fixed paylines, giving you the maximum number ways to win on each and every spin. Throughout the game, a Mexican character appears on the reels and occasionally at the bottom of the screen to cheer you on and fire his gun, while horse clopping sound effects, Spanish guitars and other fun musical interludes all add to the theme.

Enjoying the Latino Spirit

The Mexican theme is wonderfully engaging as all the symbols, the music and the sombrero-wearing character transport you to the world of Mexican bandits. Maracas appear here alongside guns, while the bonus rounds have names like the Tequila Shootout the Big Train Robbery and Mexican Mischief to add to the crime theme.

Symbols include jumping chilli peppers, metal horse shoes, a Mexican bandit, a tequila bottle with guns and a game logo. Betting options are limited to simply picking your stake per spin because all 20 paylines are fixed in play every spin. You can pick your stake per spin to choose a bet of anything from 0.20 per spin up to the maximum of 200 per spin.

Getting Away with the Cash

The payouts can be found in the paytable. You have to match 3 symbols or more to receive a payout with the wild horse shoes the best symbol in the game. If you hit 5 of these synbols on a paylin e you will win the top payout of up to 100,000 credits. Second-best is the game logo which is scatter and awards up to 5,000 credits. The sombrero and maracas both award up to 4,000 credits, while the high cards pay up to 2,000 credits for 5 matches on the reels. The wild horse shoe substitutes for all the other symbols in the game except the tequila bottle, Mexican bandit and chilli pepper.

Chilli Hot Free Spins and a Big Train Robbery

If you manage to spin 3 or more hot chilli peppers, you will launch the free spins round. The amigo drops down onto the reels to award the number of free spins with up to 25 free spins available in total. During this round more wilds and bonus symbols are added to the reels to boost your chances of hitting a good win.

The Train Robbery is another fun bonus round which is triggered by 3 or more Mexican bandits on the screen. Simply spin the gun chamber to run alongside the train – when you land on a stop sign, you win the amount of money in that train doorway.

Tequila Shootout and Mexican Mischief

Hitting 3 or more tequila bottle begins the Tequila Shootout feature. Here you can shoot the bottles to reveal cash prizes – keep shooting until your bullets are all gone. If you get Extra Ammo, you will enjoy more shots and sharp shooters could win up to 500x the total bet!

Finally, the Mexican Mischief bonus is awarded by the cheeky Mexican who appears randomly at any moment to award 5x multipliers, mystery cash prizes, bigger wins during the Train Robbery bonus or extra wins from blowing up symbols to reveal prizes.

Progressive Jackpot

There are 3 ways to win the progressive jackpot in Amigos Gold. You can shoot all the chilli peppers during free spins, or reveal the ‘progressive pot’ symbol during the train robbery or the Tequila Shootout feature.
