Show me the Money Slot Review

However, the game still has an important place in Aristocrat’s history as it has been around for more than twenty years and for many players, it exemplifies exactly what Aristocrat is all about as a slots developer. While the latest games are all about themes and licenses, this one is simply good, solid slots action that has kept players entertained for longer than many casinos have even been around. We’d still call it a robust game and if you get the chance to play the original then we certainly wouldn’t dissuade you. However, players nowadays expect something a little different and we don’t think it’s likely that there will ever be an online version of this one. Nevertheless, if you’re feeling nostalgic for some Show me the Money action then you’ll definitely want to check out our online alternatives – it may be dated but it definitely deserves the same treatment that we’ve given to all of Aristocrat’s other leading games!

Show me the Money Theme

The theme on Show me the Money is certainly not spectacular, but that isn’t what Aristocrat set out to achieve with it. In many ways, it is a game for the players and before Ancient Egypt became the destination of choice, this title was keeping players entertained with a no nonsense approach. Surprisingly, the symbols themselves don’t actually look that much different to their modern counterparts, but when it came to their main jobs, which is signifying wins, the luxury car, sack of cash and other icons all performed admirably.

Gameplay and Prizes

Back when Show me the Money came out, players around the world were enjoying the latest games with their fruits and bars and even three win lines were seen as revolutionary. Aristocrat has always been ahead of the curve though and this game set the stage for many of their later developments by including an at the time unheard of twenty win lines. While the lines are not selectable individually, the fact that they were adjustable at all was also something of a surprise to players who had never before had so much control over their bets and strategies. The prizes were also pretty huge too for the time, with the luxurious symbols making for potential jackpots of well over a thousand coins.

Features and Bonuses

The features on Show me the Money were just as ahead of their time as the betting options and many of the extras that we take for granted today were crammed into this simple cabinet. The sack of money fills in the gaps as a wild card icon, and it’s joined by the siren, which signifies access to the bonus round with the exact sound that you’d expect. Three or more are what’s required, and then you’re taken to one of the industry’s original free spins round. During this game, the money sack takes on a second role, as not only will it continue to be wild, but will also open up to reveal an additional cash prize when it appears on the fifth reel.

Show me the Money has always been ahead of its time and so it’s no surprise that even with dozens of releases since, it remains a staple of Aussie casinos, with a handful of machines still in play around the world. Like we said, we don’t see an online version coming any time soon, if ever, but that certainly doesn’t have to spoil the party. Here at Gamblib we have probably the biggest selection of Aristocrat slot reviews and alternatives around, and it would not be complete without a page dedicated to online alternatives to Show me the Money. Check it out for some equally solid gaming action, together with the best places to play all of our recommendations online.
