Queen of the Nile Slot Review

They’re all great games in their own right but as the first and some would say best of the lot, this slot deserves particular attention. Whether you’re already a fan or you’ve never played it before and simply want to see what all of the fuss is about, we’ve got all of the details on what makes the game so special together with all of your online gaming options!

Queen of the Nile Theme

It doesn’t take a genius to work out that with a name like Queen of the Nile, this slot carries a genuine Egyptian theme. That style is particularly popular in the gaming industry, as evidenced by the fact that we have an entire section devoted to such games here on the site, featuring such classy gaming options as Secret of Horus and Egyptian Riches. However, this game was there before both of them and really set the standard for others to follow. The icons are exactly what you would expect from such a game, with various hieroglyphics and statues in play. Even Aristocrat’s famed playing card icons that rarely ever change have taken on a new look here, indicating just how much faith the developer had in the game even before it was released.

Gameplay and Prizes

The gameplay on Queen of the Nile set the standard not only for future Aristocrat slots but also the industry as a whole and if you want what could be considered as a classic slot experience then this is the game for you. Today’s standard options like adjustable coin bets and win lines were not all that common when Queen of the Nile hit gaming floors and even the twenty lines on offer were seen as being extensive. While they are now pretty standard, few have come close to making them work so well and this is by far one of the most enjoyable slots out there when it comes to simply spinning in wins on the reels.

Features and Bonuses

Like the options, the features on this slot were also seen as being somewhat revolutionary at the time and while fans of the latest video slots won’t find anything new here, you have to remember that Queen of the Nile was successfully pulling off this kind of action all the way back in 1997! The first major symbol is the Queen, who will add to your wins by acting as a wild card. Her pyramid is also important as it is the game’s scatter. Three or more in view award fifteen free spins which again is pretty standard nowadays but was welcomed with open arms over a decade ago when players were still used to three reel games where features were few and far between!

Queen of the Nile is arguably the most important and influential release in the entire Aristocrat range and defines them as a slot developer. It is therefore no surprise that it is also a cornerstone of their online selection. If you’re outside the blocked territories then you can check it out now at their partner casinos and if you haven’t before then you definitely should as you’ll be witnessing slot machine history before your eyes! The game’s influence also extends to other developers, so if you do happen to be in one of the blocked territories, you certainly don’t need to miss out as we’ve got the web’s most comprehensive selection of online Queen of the Nile alternatives, together with the best places to play them all for real cash. They may not be the original game, but they certainly come close!
