Prize Fight Slot Review

This makes it all the more surprising that boxing themes are few and far between on slots, whether you’re playing online or offline. Of course, just because a theme is uncommon doesn’t mean that there are no choices at all and Aristocrat has never been the kind of slot developer to follow the crowd. They are responsible for arguably the world’s best known boxing themed slot and it comes in the form of Prize Fight, capturing all of the action of the ring and throwing in some of the biggest and best prizes around to boot. The game itself is getting on a bit and can be somewhat difficult to find, even in Aristocrat’s native Australia, but it has a place in the hearts of many slots players and is fully deserving of inclusion in our Aristocrat section here at Gamblib. Like all of their titles, we’ve got the full feature that you can read below, not to mention our exclusive alternatives that bring all of the Prize Fight action to online players around the world.

Prize Fight Theme

The duelling boxing glove logo of Prize Fight is one of those images that is forever etched into the memories of casinos in Australia. Aristocrat always keeps things simple with its themes and this game is no different. You’ll find just about everything that you would expect from a boxing themed slot on the reels, including not just gloves but also stools, rings and championship belts. The more important that certain symbols are in the sport, the more they will pay out when you land three, four or five in view!

Gameplay and Prizes

Prize Fight was released many years ago in two different versions but when it comes to gameplay, they are absolutely identical. One of the most notable things about the gameplay is that the minimum bet across all win lines is set at a dollar.

Features and Bonuses

The features on Prize Fight are particularly unusual and by no means extensive by modern standards. Nevertheless, they serve to enhance the action on the slot and realistically that is all that you can expect from any game. Three knockout icons need to land on one of your active win lines in order to launch a free spins round and that in itself is important – they’re not scatters and the symbols need to be spun in adjacently, just like any symbol combination. Do so successfully and you’ll receive five spins with a three times multiplier. This too is somewhat unusual, as wins during the bonus round are only paid on the same win line that launched the round in the first place.

Prize Fight is one of the most unique slots ever made. Not only is the boxing theme something of a rarity as mentioned above, but few games implement bonus games in the same way. This hasn’t deterred us from putting together some great online alternatives, however. It is just as deserving of its very own alternatives page as every other Aristocrat slot and we’ve obliged with the best boxing and free spins slots action around. Check out that page for yourself to see which games we recommend and, more importantly, where to play them for real cash!
