Pharaoh’s Ransom Quick Fire Slot Review

The first that you’d expect is the Asian theme, and that is taken care of by Golden Peach. The other is the Ancient Egypt theme, as made popular by the likes of Queen of the Nile. Aristocrat would never let their fans down so here it is: Pharaoh’s Ransom Quick Fire. The Pharaoh in question looks suspiciously similar to the Queen of the Nile herself, and you’ll find the return of popular icons, plus big jackpots and more. If you want an online version, then you’ll want to check out our Pharaoh’s Ransom online alternatives, but if you just want to know more about one of Aristocrat’s hottest recent releases, read on for all of the details!

Pharaoh’s Ransom Quick Fire Theme

We touched on the theme more than usual in the introduction to this feature, but in fairness it is the outstanding part of the game. While games in the Reel Power series, for example, are often quite different to each other, the Quick Fire range adopts a different approach by keeping each game in the series fairly similar. Indeed, only the looks really change, and here you’ll find all of the Egyptian symbols that you have become accustomed to over the years. Pyramids, scarabs and playing card icons make up the majority of the visuals on the game, and there’s even the familiar factor of the Pyramid acting as a scatter symbol. In terms of looks, the only major difference that will catch you by surprise compared to Aristocrat’s other Egyptian slots, apart from the higher levels of detail, is the way in which virtually every single aspect of the game is animated. Basically, you won’t walk past this cabinet in the casino without it being sure to catch your eye!

Gameplay and Prizes

Gameplay on Pharaoh’s Ransom Quick Fire is identical to what you’ll have found on other Quick Fire slots, so if you’ve played one before then you can pretty much copy what you’re used to and reproduce it here. If you’ve never played a Quick Fire slot – and to be fair they are pretty new – then you’ll want to know the basics before dropping in any cash. The game is played over fifty lines, which is becoming something of a new standard for Aristocrat, and you can modify your line bets using the cabinet buttons, ensuring those looking for bigger and smaller stakes alike are well catered for. Prizes are pretty standard, with the themed symbols being worth noticeably more than they playing card icons, although they all pale in comparison to the main jackpot, which weighs in at $2,250. It doesn’t come along all that often but that’s certainly not that big a deal as it’s backed up by three smaller jackpots of $10, $40 and $200.

Features and Bonuses

The main feature to look forward to on any Quick Fire slot is the jackpot system, which works by spinning in certain jackpot symbols and then a final icon on the last reel to indicate which of the prizes has been won. However, there is also some traditional slot bonus action to be enjoyed too, starting off with the wild card. That job is done by the scarab which, like all slots in the series, can come in stacks. It gets even better during free spins, as the final reel turns completely wild. The more pyramid scatters that land, the more spins you receive and they all make use of the full fifty win lines.

Whether the Quick Fire series makes it into Aristocrat’s online portfolio remains to be seen, and if it does then you’ll find out about it first here at Gamblib.
