Electric Boogaloo Quick Fire Slot Review

As with all of the slots series that have gone before it, the games in the Quick Fire range have plenty in common while also being different enough to each other to stand out on their own. As you’d expect from any recent land based release, Electric Boogaloo is not yet available online and seems a while off, but if you’ve been captivated by it in the local casino then we have already identified the very best online alternatives that you can play right now from the comfort of your own home. We’ll discuss them in more detail towards the end of this feature, but first let’s take a look at what this Quick Fire Highlight has going for it in terms of bonuses, themes and more.

Electric Boogaloo Quick Fire Theme

The game itself is certainly one that you won’t miss when you land in the casino or club as the cabinet itself is pretty huge thanks to the use of two different key areas. There is of course the main screen where all of the reel based action takes place, and it is joined above by a similarly sized area displaying the jackpots on offer – and there are four to be won although we’ll cover that fully below. As any Aristocrat fan could already guess, the game itself takes place on the standard five reels and the playing card icons make a welcome return. They’re joined by themed icons that capture the disco era and are noticeably advanced compared to Aristocrat’s more standard games.

Gameplay and Prizes

Electric Boogaloo is controlled using the buttons on the cabinet rather than a touch screen, but they both serve up the same end results so that’s fine by us! The game makes use of fifty win lines, which is why the reels have been extended to four rows and it is well worth adapting your strategy for such a pattern as the same can be said of all of the games in the Quick Fire range. The maximum bet depends on where you’re playing as each state has different regulations, but you’ll find a 250 credit maximum no matter where you happen across the game. The prizes are fairly standard and what you’d expect from an Aristocrat game – apart from the jackpots of course. Winning those jackpots depends on lining up certain symbols on the first four reels, with the fifth determining which of the four prizes have been won. The lowest prize is a modest $10, but they go all the way up to $2,250 with the Grand Jackpot. Perhaps the best thing about the game for lower rollers is that the prizes are always consistent, so you can scoop the top amount whether you’re playing for cents or dollars. Higher rollers shouldn’t be put off though, as higher stakes will increase your chances overall.

Features and Bonuses

Our favourite is the stacked dollar sign, which acts as a wild card and can appear just about anywhere. If you’re lucky enough to land a full stack on a reel then it will remain in place on your next spin too. The same applies in the bonus round, where you can pick up free spins, with more scatters making for more spins.

We often say that playing online will lead to better results overall and while Electric Boogaloo has a relatively high return rate of its own, weighing in at around 90%, it still falls a few percent short of what you can expect online. We’ve also looked at the theme and gameplay to bring you the biggest and best online slots with a disco theme, fifty lines and more, and you can find all of our suggestions on the dedicated Electric Boogaloo Quick Fire alternatives page here at Gamblib.
