Tales of Darkness Lunar Eclipse Slot Review

However, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t plenty of room for interpretation when it comes to making the dark and noble vampire the star of the show. In the new Tales of Darkness Lunar Eclipse video slot by Novomatic, players are treated to both the romantic side of vampires and the darkness that lies beneath, in equal measure.

In the free Tales of Darkness Lunar Eclipse slot, gamblers join two beautiful female vampires on a quest to get their hands on some mystical bejewelled rings. Whether the vampires are fighting for good or bad is debatable, but they’re certainly on your side when it comes to a desire to land the precious rewards offered by this online slot. Want to see vampires portrayed in a whole new light? This 6-reeled online casino game is one of the best places to explore a completely different side to these ancient but beautiful beings.

Rings of Riches

Tales of Darkness Lunar Eclipse is a slot designed for gamblers who like to play on the riskier side of things. Bets start at 300 credits and soar all the way up to 10,000 credits for a spin on the ten paylines. Thankfully, you have an extra reel to help you out with the online slots’ exciting 6×3 reel design. This step away from what can be classed as the norm of a 5×3 reel setup brings a whole new style of play to the table.

From your first spin on Tales of Darkness Lunar Eclipse, it quickly becomes clear that Novomatic has tried to develop a mysterious tone in this game. While it doesn’t quite hit the mark for the ultimate horror, this slot does manage to easily pique your interest. Among its features are the two vampires as the main symbols – worth the most in the online slot’s pay table – as well as the two themed ring symbols in green and blue.

For the standard game, that’s all there is in terms of theme in the pay table, with the rest of the standard winning symbols consisting of card symbols A, K, Q, and J. While they may not be the most exciting additions, the card symbols do have the potential of landing players up to 300,000 credits when six symbols match on a win line.

Enter the Vampire Den

The combination of the mysterious purple background and highly detailed symbols in the standard game set the tone for what’s to come. If you’re brave enough to step into the vampire den, this slot starts to get pretty exciting. There are two ways to land a bonus win in Tales of Darkness Lunar Eclipse. The first is to land a substitute win with the full moon wild symbols, which also have the potential of landing the player an impressive bonus of 2,000,000. The second way to land a bonus win is by triggering the free spins round – who doesn’t love slots with a good classic bonus?

To trigger the free spins, the player needs to land three of the full moon symbols, which also double up as the online slot machine’s scatter symbols. 10 free spins are awarded to the player. The first bonus the player will encounter will be that the wild symbols are also in play during the free spins. As a result, even more free spins could be triggered.

During the vampiric bonus round, an additional bonus is also present: the bonus symbol. A single symbol will turn gold at the start of the free spins, which will then become a stacked symbol for the full duration of the free spins. You’ll spot this shimmering symbol on the second and fifth reels, and on a lucky spin you’ll also be able to see it expanding out horizontally. For even more wins, you can look forward to any symbol match – up to five – paying out right to left when the golden symbol is present.

Don’t Get Bitten

When it comes to horror slots online, you either love them or hate them. If you enjoy playing them, the good news is that there are more than enough of these to spin at casino online rooms. If you’re not particularly keen, then there are plenty of opportunities to change your mind, with top slots like Vampire Treasures by MGA and Vampire Feast by SkillOnNet around. One slot that will more than feed your craving for vampire action is Vampire Castle by 77IGT. With 100 paylines, a low-to-medium variance, and up to 15 free spins on the table, a trip inside this castle may be terrifying, but the rewards are certainly worth it!

If you want to get in as much action as possible, then perhaps the Vampire slot, also by 777IGT, will be more to your taste. The slot features three potential jackpot tiers and even more free spins to sink your teeth into. There are many ways to land your vampiric fortune in Vampire, with 100 haunted paylines and some excellent themed symbols really getting you in the mood for a horror-themed slot.

A Walk on the Wild Side

The free Tales of Darkness Lunar Eclipse slot machine is a great new slot from Novomatic, giving players a new way to explore the vampiric world. The symbols are nicely designed, in spite of the themed symbol count being pretty low. Equally, the bonus game features have been given some special attention – they are easy to get to grips with, and incredibly rewarding.

Featuring massive bonus wins up for grabs and impressive symbol payouts, the Tales of Darkness Lunar Eclipse slot is definitely tailored towards the high roller. It’s also a fantastic choice for any player who’s after a fun spin that’s simple in design. If you fancy a walk on the wild side, some outstanding riches could be yours in Tales of Darkness Lunar Eclipse – that is if you can tame the stunning vampires within.
