Sizzling Hot Deluxe Slot Review

As with the entire Novomatic Deluxe range, this iteration of Sizzling Hot takes an already established slot classic and brings it bang up to date through the addition of more extensive gameplay, enhanced graphics and often far more features than its predecessor. In terms of Sizzling Hot Deluxe, the original was never about features as such, preferring to focus the gameplay aspects on the reels themselves, a theme that has been carried over into the revised version.

The main standout feature of Sizzling Hot Deluxe that allows it to surpass the original Sizzling Hot slot is the range of betting options and subsequent jackpot prize on offer (And the fact, that you can also play this slot with the Sizzling Hot Deluxe app now on your smartphone and tablet). Both games are covered in full detail later in this review.

Gameplay and Prizes

What makes Sizzling Hot Deluxe so ideal both for beginners and fans of more traditional online slots is the fact that setting stake amounts and game configurations is extremely simple, even by Novomatic standards. In true old school style, players can select a maximum of just five win lines on each spin. However, in line with the standard maximum bet of $100 associated with Novomatic slots, each line can carry a bet of up to $20 which is among the highest in the range.

What such a large line bet means in real terms is that those that opt to make use of it get more bang for their buck when winning the game’s standalone jackpot. Already somewhat impressive at 5,000 coins, players that spin it in on a line that has $20 covering it can take down $100,000 on a single spin. This is something of a legacy left over from the original land based version; a fact that justifies how Sizzling Hot Deluxe became so popular in Las Vegas and other casinos around the world.

Features and Bonuses

The chances are that many of our readers will have got straight on to the Sizzling Hot Deluxe reels after reading about that jackpot amount. Those that are still with us to take note of the additional features will quickly find that, simply put, Sizzling Hot Deluxe does not have much by way of additions to the standard gameplay. The only outstanding symbol is the Star, which aside from being the only non-fruit symbol, also acts as a scatter. With no dedicated bonus round to speak of, the Star simply awards players a prize whenever three or more appear, regardless of their position. This takes some of the load off the other symbols where three or more are required along one of the five win lines in order for the player to win a prize.
