What Novomatic represents today is the go to name when it comes to the classic real money slots play. In an attempt to keep this reputation rolling, the developer has released Sizzle Hot Extra 6 Gold.

Players around the globe will always have a soft spot for real money slots that have an old school feel, with this interesting offering from Novomatic attempting to target that very market. Sizzle Hot 6 Extra Gold is a game that delivers a few interesting twists, but manages to stay loyal to the classic slots premise that casino fans know and love.

Hot to the Touch

If you’ve booted up Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold expecting to be blown away by out of this world visuals, you are probably going to be left feeling a touch disappointed. That being said, the reason for this is because the game stands by the classic approach to game design, and doesn’t try to throw anything too frivolous out there.

The backdrop is a deep red, while there are very few distractions found within the game’s theme. If we were to describe Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold in a single term it would be “stripped back”.

The symbols in the game carry a similar approach, as while the game certainly sizzles it is by no means stylish. The symbols used in Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold are cherries, lemons, melons, and grapes, among other classic symbols, with each icon carrying a cartoon-like look. The look of Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold is nothing spectacular, but it is certainly passable.

Six of a Kind

Are you on the hunt for a gameplay juggernaut release? Then look away from Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold, as it’s nothing of the sort. Gameplay here is strictly classic in approach for the most part, with the main twist being the addition of the mysterious 6th reel. This alone does make 6 of a kind combinations a possibility, which means that this game presents a healthy challenge.

It is also worth noting that the wagering range in Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold is pretty vast, with the minimum bet being 40.00 and the maximum bet being a jaw dropping 10.000.

With an Additional Sizzle

Breaking down the game into its finer elements, you’re quickly going to find that this medium variance real money slots release throws out some profitable combinations. The plums, oranges, lemons, and cherries pay out 50x, 20, 5x, and 2z your wager, as long as you can secure 6, 5, 4, or 3 symbols in a combination. Following on from that, the melon will secure you up to 200x your wager, but there is more to come.

The lucky 7 is your ticket to the big time prizes with Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold, as by finding 3, 4, 5 or 6 if these symbols you could walk away with up to 1,500x your total bet. Big and bountiful, the payouts within Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold really did catch us off guard.

Through the Flames

We were more than happy to see that the control panel in Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold maintains the usual Novomatic simplicity. Spread along the bottom of the screen is all you need to tweak the game to your heart’s content. From wager alteration to spinning the reels, all it takes is a few quick clicks to be up and running within Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold.

Don’t Underestimate Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold!

For most developers, classic online slots action is nothing but an afterthought, as most will attest to the fact that the market has been sorely neglected the genre in recent years. Standing by what’s old school at heart, Novomatic is continuing to give players new classic slot games to try on for size.

Standing as a prime example of the brand’s efforts, Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold proved to be highly enjoyable for the most part, even it if does lack a little on the personality front.

What could have been another phoned in effort, has actually turned out to be a game that rolls out a few twists on the classic slots formula. All in all, to anyone who enjoys classic real money slots action, Sizzling Hot 6 Extra Gold is a pretty easy recommendation.
