The game has five reels and three rows to offer up to players, and these reels are accompanied by 25 separate pay lines. While these are all active upon loading up the game, you can customise them to suit your own needs if you need to. In addition, players can change the bet placed per active pay line by using the plus and minus buttons at either side of the amount shown. As far as the icons go, they’re very quirky and fit in with the theme of the game perfectly. As far as special features go, they’re one of the main additions to slot games that many people look for when choosing a potential product to play. Cat Scratch Fever has a few of these, starting first of all with its wild icon, which appears in the shape of a glitter ball. This matches up to all other icons, except the bonus symbol, and will assist in creating a winning combination. It will appear on all reels, with the exception of the first one.

At the beginning of each spin, stacked regions on each of the reels are replaced with a single symbol. This particular symbol may be different from reel to reel, and not all combinations of icons are equally likely to appear on the reels either. This works as the ‘Stacked Symbol Substitution’.

There’s also a ‘Scratch’ feature included in the game. This occurs when two or more of the first three reels are filled with matching stacks of symbols. These are matching stacks. A reel offering a stack of wilds matches any other stack except for a bonus one. After any line wins are paid, the first reel from left to right which doesn’t match the matching stacks will be scratched. This basically means that it is replaced with a stack of symbols, which may or may not be the same as the matching stacks.

Finally, the bonus icon in this game provides its own feature as well. If the matching stacks in the first three reels are formed by bonus icons, then all the non-matching reels will be scratched. Should nine or more bonus symbols appear on the reels, you’ll trigger the ‘Scratch and Win’ freespins feature. A number of freespins are awarded to you, which equate to twice the amount of bonus symbols showing.
