Indeed, the core innovation of this game is the theme. We feel pretty safe in saying that this is the only online video slot to be based on the steampunk subculture and it is brought to life in typically impressive fashion thanks to great graphics, sounds and animations. Fifteen win lines ensure accessibility and the inclusion of four playing card icons and four themed symbols with higher values means that the wins keep on coming as it is simply not all that difficult to land the same symbol multiple times on a single spin.
Explore the Floors of the Tower
The wild card is just as innovative as the theme, as there is much more to the story than just filling in gaps of other symbols. The main character can appear at any time as a stacked wild and you simply need to land one fully wild reel to not only reap the instant cash benefits, but also enter the Steam Tower itself on the first floor as part of a free spins round. You’ll grab ten spins in total, but this is not your run of the mill bonus game. For starters, subsequent appearances of the wild will add two further spins to your total every time it lands, and also takes players up to the next floor in the tower. That floor determines a multiplier which is seeded at two times and will increase by one for every three floors you manage to climb. If you manage to make it to the sixteenth floor then you’ll not only benefit from a seven times multiplier on all remaining spins, but also receive an extremely handy thousand coin bonus prize.
While Steam Tower is simple on the surface, it does nothing to slow down NetEnt’s recent track record for creating something brand new. It’s one of those games that we like to describe as needing to be seen to be believed and fortunately you can do exactly that right here on this page with no deposit! It’s also live now at all of our recommended Net Entertainment casinos for real money play.
