Forbidden Throne Slot Review

What helps the Microgaming cause is the fact that they’re able to keep pushing forward with new games that push boundaries. Ensuring that the Microgaming name remains up in lights, the brand’s newest game blew us away in more ways than one. Forbidden Throne has clearly taken inspiration from the famed TV show Game of Thrones, but in its own way it has kicked things up a notch.

Oozing fantasy and mystery throughout, there is a clear reason why this game has been able to attract major attention among slots online fans. However, as we all know, hype and “attention” is not enough to carry any slot game to the very top, so does Forbidden Throne have enough within the tank to become a time-tested favourite? We certainly think so, and here’s why!

Entering a Forbidden Realm

Where do we even begin with the theme of Forbidden Throne? What this game does is put players into the heart of what appears to be a mystical fantasy world. All over the screen you will see, fire, ice, and amazing looking beasts, with the game even carrying what appears to be its own “story”. In theme, there is no surprise to see that this game is catching the eye of millions of slots online fans around the globe. Allowing the game to really reach the next level in the appearance department, the production values here are insane. Every inch of the game is coated in glorious HD, while the animations used for the symbols only make this game that much more appealing. Simply put, when it comes to looks, Microgaming is on top form with Forbidden Throne.

Spellbound Slots Action

Forbidden Throne looks pretty much out of this world, but with its base game it does subscribe to conformity to a certain extent. It’s a slight downturn, but it doesn’t take away from the overall theme of the game. Across 5 reels, 3 rows, and 40 playlines, the cost of the game ranges from between 0.40 per spin and 200 coins per spin. The latter of these figures does give high roller style players something to get stuck into, so if you want to bet big with Forbidden Throne you are certainly free to do so. Symbols in this game are made up of amulets, crowns, gems, helmets, sorceresses, and spellbooks. But there are other symbols outside of this that players really do need to keep a particular special eye out for, as the Phoenix, Dark Elf, Sorceress, unicorn, castle, and Forbidden Throne logo all act as wild symbols and are all stackable, which is a super-cool feature in our opinion. Let’s just say, when the wild reels feature is active in this game, it adds an extra wrinkle to the action that may just boost your payout by 500x. Do you want to get your hands on free spins? Well, you’re certainly in luck when you pickup Forbidden Throne, as this game is happy to roll them out in big numbers. The Free Spins Feature opens up when you find 3 or more orb scatters anywhere screen. 3 will grab you 10 free spins, 4 will grab you 20 free spins, while 5 will grab you a whopping 30 free spins. Letting you spin the reels without charge, the free spins bonus aspect of Forbidden Kingdom super enjoyable.

Arriving in Avalon

Free Forbidden Throne slot may look like a simple enough game to grasp, but don’t be fooled, as should a player want to crack this game wide open, a challenge will be afoot. This game qualifies as a highly volatile release from Microgaming, so patience is going to be key to finding success. That being said, this is by no means Microgaming’s first crack at creating fantasy style games within the realm of “Fire and Ice” that carry a hefty challenge. Carrying almost legendary status within the world of online slots, Avalon II is a game that no player – no matter their level of commitment to slot based games – can afford to ignore.

Step up to the Forbidden Throne!

Microgaming have gone big when it comes to Forbidden Throne video slot, with the sheer production values here being out of this world. What this game does is transport players into is an unforgettable fantasyland that is nothing short of truly captivating. If you want our opinion, you’ll seek out Forbidden Throne, as this release easily represents one of Microgaming’s finest online casino creations to date.
