Lady In Red
The title of this slot often scares the life out of me. All I can think of is that flipping Chris De Burgh song from the 1980s.u00a0 Happier thoughts are of Kelly Le Brock in the movie of the same name but neither of those are the theme of this entertaining slot from Microgaming.

Instead we find ourselves inside a jazz club where the lady in red is the singer, thankfully not singing that horrendous song. Not to say the soundtrack to this game isn’t that much better and the mute button was swiftly reached for.
There are 25 pay-lines in this game so lots of chances to get some wins. The game is played out on five reels and three rows of symbols. That pay-line figure isn’t a fixed amount so it’s entirely your decision how many to activate on each spin of the reels. If you want to play all the pay-lines to really increase your chance of getting some wins that’ll cost you a minimum of €0.25 with the maximum outlay €50, That’s a decent range so finding a level you can play at won’t be difficult at all.
Jazzy Symbols
So here we are in the jazz club and the symbols reflect the average night out there. There’s a tumbler with some whiskey in it, the jazz band blasting out their favourite jazz hits, a napkin that has a lipstick stain on it, some red roses and of course there’s the aforementioned female singer all in red.
If you can get five of that symbol on an activated pay-line that will earn you 2500x your line bet. We also get the Nine to Ace playing card symbols. Those are the lower paying symbols in the game but why so many of them? Let’s have more jazz related symbols that adhere to the theme. It does mean you’ll be getting your fair share of low paying wins though.
The wild symbol in this game is the Lady in Red logo. You’ll be keen on seeing this appear on the reels as it can substitute for other symbols and help get you some winning combinations (and hopefully not always those lower paying playing card symbols). It’s not able to work its magic and substitute for the scatter symbol which is the camera. That would make it a lot easier to get into the bonus game and we can’t have that can we?
It’s always important to do a bit of research before starting to play a game for real. Therefore, look through the pay-table to find out all you can about how this game runs. Some free games to see it all in action and then you’ll be ready to try and get some big wins and won’t be surprised by anything that goes on. The game can be played in two modes, namely regular and expert. If opting for the expert mode you suddenly find yourself with the ability to set an autoplay feature, handy if you need some time away from the screen for any reason. Then again, you might just be fed up of having to keep pressing the start button.
Free Spins To Be Won
That camera scatter symbol really is an important one. If three of them appear anywhere on the reels then you’ll be awarded 15 free spins to play with. Now your luck might really be in and four crop up, that gets you 20 free spins and if five appear you’ll be going into the free spins round armed with 25 of them to try and get some good wins. Note those scatters can appear anywhere, that means even if you’re only activating one pay-line there’s just as much chance of getting into the free spins bonus round.
Any wins you get in the bonus game will be tripled and there’s always the chance that you can re-trigger those free spins to keep the wins flowing.
Final Words
Mute that horrible soundtrack and you are left with an enjoyable game to play. The theme is a decent one but more theme-related symbols would have been appreciated. You’ll definitely want to get into the bonus round with the tripled wins as that can really boost your account balance. That alone makes this a game worth giving a go.
