Venture of a voyage across the oceans in Neptune’s Kingdom slot machine from Playtech, where there is a 150x jackpot waiting to be discovered.
Playtech are the creators of the Neptune’s Kingdom slot machine and it’s a slot game that fits into their classic slot machine category. There are 3 reels and 5 paylines to this slot game, which allows you to indulge in some simple yet potentially rewarding gameplay. Neptune was the god of freshwater and the sea according to Roman religion, so you can expect to find an oceanic theme to this slot game.
Bets can be placed from 0.05 for all paylines up to a 500.00 maximum stake – this will suit high rollers who are looking for the biggest wins on offer; 15,000 cash jackpot.
Watery Theme
Neptune’s Kingdom slot machine is made to look like you are in the middle of the vast ocean with nothing but a single ship passing by in the distance. Neptune stands guard with his trident pointing towards the wins on offer. The paytable is highlighted via two maps; the first shows you how you hit the jackpot and the second shoes you the symbols featured within the game. You will find piranha, lobster, fish, trident, mermaid and treasure chest on the reels.
The reels of the game are placed to the lower of the machine with your bet to the left and your wins to the right. The paylines pierce through the reels like Neptune’s trident. You have but five buttons on the control panel; bet increase and decrease options, bet one, spin and bet max. To select your bets, you use the arrows either side of the bet until you reach a value you are happy with. Click the bet one button to select the amount of paylines you wish to bring into play – the more you have in play, the bigger your chance of hitting a winning combination.
Stormy Wins
The biggest non-progressive jackpot on offer is that of 150x your stake. You will need to get the treasure chest to fall as a three of a kind to trigger this jackpot and it can be done in five different ways:
- Payline 1 full of treasures chests offers 100x your stake
- Payline 2 full of treasures chests offers 110x your stake
- Payline 3 full of treasures chests offers 120x your stake
- Payline 4 full of treasures chests offers 130x your stake
- Payline 5 full of treasures chests offers 150x your stake – the jackpot
The five other symbols on the reels award you with the following:
- Piranha; 20x your stake
- Lobster; 25x your stake
- Fish; 30x your stake
- Trident; 40x your stake
- Mermaid; 50x your stake
Failing Features
With Neptune’s Kingdom being a classic style slot machine, you won’t find any features on offer – this means there are no wilds, scatters, free spins or bonus features. Usually, Playtech offer a simple feature with these classic slots; an any 3 way win. This means a combination of three symbols will reward you – just like the Party Line slot game from Playtech. Three mixtures of champagne symbols award a win, but sadly, you have to match three of a kind of a single symbol to win within this game.
Worth the Voyage?
Neptune’s Kingdom has a return to player (RTP) percentage of between 95.6% and 97.2% – which is rather high for any slot machine. We found the slot to be a medium to high variance slot machine – this means you will have to be playing for considerable amounts of time before triggering a decent win on the reels. The graphics and sounds are very basic and look almost unfinished, but the amount you can win will make up for that.
We were lucky enough to hit the jackpot while playing in demo mode – it did take a good few hours of triggering though and when it landed on the reels, there was no fanfare – or celebrations, just a circle highlighting the win on the reels. If you want a simple slot game with no features to distract you, we recommend you give Neptune’s Kingdom a shot.
