Cat in Vegas
As far as slot machine names go, Cat in Vegas is one of Playtechu2019s more original concepts. The name tells you all you need to know about what to expect with the 5-reels of this real cash slot, though seeing is believing when it comes to the magic of Las Vegas.

Given how often the brand teams up with other companies to create slots, like they did with Marvel, it was refreshing to see a change of direction for them. Even more so when you take into account how much effort has gone into making this online slot standout from the crowd, though it could do that with its name alone.
Regardless of whether you love felines or not, the Vegas element will have you spinning those reels and cashing in cheques before the night of partying is through. So what if a ginger Tom cat keeps turning up – just ignore him and focus on the rest of the design… If you can.
Vegas Slots
Even though you’re already playing a slot machine, you’ll get a chance to watch Felix (the ginger cat) play some when you trigger the Vegas Slots Bonus round. This is a highly interactive experience, which we have to commend the brand for. We’re so used to dull ‘pick me’ selections, yet here they delivered something more. You still have the pick me element, but it feels part of something bigger.
You’ll watch as our feline friend moves towards the slot machine you pick, and then starts pulling the lever to release several lots of wins, at least up until the machine breaks down. As you’d expect with this type of setup, some machines are more generous than others, but you won’t know their generosity until you try one.
Feeling Lucky, Punk?
Felix has another interactive round to savour, should he be able to land the wheel of fortune symbol on the third reel of the grid; hardly going to happen often, even given the low volatility here. We’ll pretend for now that we’ve managed it, and so you’ll watch as he spins the wheel, landing on various prizes. Sometimes he’ll even leap into action, using his cat reflexes to help the wheel to land on a much larger win.
Just as the slots round, this is highly immersive, but it’s low on the engagement side. Yes, you get more out of the choices you make, but that’s only visually speaking. Gameplay wise, you still get the same level of engagement that you would with a boring design. This then leaves us wondering whether we’ve actually gotten more for our money or not.
Elvis Is Alive!
This wouldn’t be a Vegas themed slot without someone dressing up as Elvis, though few of us would have envisioned a cat donning the iconic white outfit that the singer is renowned for. The level is fittingly called The King Show Free Games, with the title giving it away that you’re about to be gifted free spins. But wait, that’s not all, you also get sticky wilds included into that mix, just to make sure that the King’s latest performance is his best yet.
You’ll be wiggling your booties just as hard as Felix, only you won’t be determining where the sticky wilds fall and stay. Either way, there’s a show about to start that none of us will soon forget!
Cat’s World
Everyone says it’s a dog eat dog world, but when it comes to Cat in Vegas, it’s very much a cat’s world. We weren’t convinced, initially, that such a random theme could work, for sometimes the most quirky are doomed to fail before they’ve even begun, but this slot shows us differently. It’s weird enough to get you interested in playing, but not so much so that you feel uncomfortable when you’re getting stuck into the Vegas themed action.
Due to the high number of bonus rounds, you can get quite a few playthroughs in before you’ve exceeded the reach of this game, meaning it has decent longevity.
