Never has David Hasselhoff been as popular as he is in Novomatic’s eyes, for the simple fact that the developer has taken it upon themselves to craft two slot games around him. This one, when compared with ‘Hoffmania’, is a lot better in terms of game play, incorporated imagery and music. There isn’t any specific special setting for the game to take place in, but then again, the other game didn’t have one either. So while this one does take the prize for being better overall, it’s still not a game that can really be compared to many of the other top ones. However, we do enjoy the fact that there’s a swanky piece of music incorporated, which plays every time you spin the reels. This really puts a fun twist on the game, providing a little bit of humour and tone.

It’s fairly clear from this game, as well as the ‘Hoffmania’ offering, that Novomatic would like to make it known that David Hasselhoff is adored by the female of the species. Both games include icons of random women either wearing t-shirts emblazoned with his image, or, as the case is in Hoffmeister, giving the thumbs up. In addition, players will see reels filled with flashy watches and rings, a fancy sports car, and a high class luxury yacht, which apparently means that he’s also rich as hell and able to flash such trinkets and possessions right in front of everyone’s noses. That must be also how he wins the ladies over.

The game itself features five reels and three rows worth of a layout, providing a more familiar sight than the other Hoff-based offering from this developer. There are also 10 pay lines included as well, and these can be altered down, should you have a preference for wagering on fewer. The bet you are able to place per line is also changeable, starting from its minimum of $0.04 and providing the option of being able to be increased up to $10. Therefore, all players spinning the reels of this game can place a maximum overall wager of $100 per round, should the pay lines be maxed out as well.

Of course, the best thing about any video slot is the special features that it incorporates. Hoffmeister is no different, and it stands to reason that the image of Hasselhoff himself is the wild icon. As such, he will act as a stand in for any other symbol on the reels, with the exception of scatter icons, in order to create a winning combination.

As mentioned, this one does provide a better product overall, incorporating not only special features and appealing graphics, but also very appropriate music and all around feel.
