There are many themes that slot designer can use for games and history/tradition is often the focus of attention. That’s definitely the case here in ‘Totem Treasure’ as Microgaming decide to go back to the traditions of Native Americans and it most certainly works.

The game has a really colourful look to it and it’s clear a lot of work has been taken on its design. There are clear blue skies in the background and the symbols, although looking a bit cartoonish are still good to look at, so no problems on that score.

There’s five reels here and three rows of impressive looking symbols. In terms of pay-lines there are just the five of them here and that’s not a fixed amount. You decide just how many to activate and a lot will of course depend on your financial budget, just work one out and stick to it.

It’s so frustrating when a couple of symbols come along leaving you one short of a win or you get four and are one off a top win. The wild can substitute for all the other symbols in the game to help get those wins and keep your account balance ticking over nicely.

The lack of a bonus game does rather ruin the very good review this was about to receive. It has a good look and sound to it and there are some good wins to be had. The lack of any kind of bonus is disappointing but this is still worth a play just to try and get that 12,000x jackpot.
