Reel Steal Slot Review
Have you ever thought about leading the gangster life? Being given jobs to do by your mob boss and being paid hundreds and thousands of dollars to complete them? Well, perhaps it’s not the best career choice, living a life of crime, but one way you can do it without harming anyone else is by play the ‘Reel Steal’ product from Netent. The game could be a video slot incarnation of ‘The Godfather’ movies, bringing you all the thrills and excitement of such with every spin. There’s also a soundtrack included in this one which just screams out crime and intrigue, which will accompany you on your many heists to try and steal away your loot. So, if you’re ready for a few spins filled with robbery and criminal mastermind work, you’ll definitely enjoy this one.
The Mob is in Town!
Reel Steal is presented to you on a standard video slot layout, which consists of five reels and three rows. Therefore, you’ll be playing the game on a familiar interface. As far as imagery goes, there are a plentiful selection of theme-relative symbols, including a bag full of money, a pistol, bullets, passport and keys collection, a safety deposit box filled with gold ingots, a briefcase housing some diamonds, as well as maps with a camera next to them. In addition to these, there are five character symbols as well, including the man leaning up against the getaway vehicle, the sexy female class in leather jacket and sunglasses, the shooting man, a guy who would appear to be the stupid one of the pack, and finally, the mob’s boss, smoking on his cigar.
Alongside the reels and rows available, players will have the chance to place wagers on nine separate pay lines, although if you have a preference for betting on less, you can customise these to suit yourself. Furthermore, you can also change around the ‘Bet Level’ and ‘Coin Value’ amounts, allowing you to choose your own wager value per spin. The first of these is able to be changed between one and 10, while the second is able to be altered between its minimum of £0.01, and this will increase up to £0.50 per pay line. Therefore, if you raise both of these to their highest levels and have the maximum amount of pay lines active, you’re able to place an overall wager of $45 per round.
Hide Your Special Loot!
There are a few special features included in Reel Steal, which starts with its wild symbol. This is represented by the yellow getaway car, and as a wild symbol it will substitute for all other symbols, except for scatter icons. Any wins with wild icons included in them will pay a coin win of times five. During the freespins round of the game, bet line wins completed by one or more of the wilds are multiplied by a total of 25 times.
And as far as the scatter icon in this game goes, this is represented by the time bomb. Scatter icons will pay out wherever they appear on the reels, and any wins will pay out your total bet multiplied by the pay out, which depends upon the amount of scatters on the reels. If three or more of these show up on the reels, you’ll trigger the freespins round. You’ll get a total of 15 freespins if you spin three scatters on to the reels. A total of 20 freespins will be provided from four scatters and 25 freespins from five scatters. Freespin wins pay out a coin win multiplied by five, and each scatter appearing during this round gives an extra freespin.
Summary
This game is a decent product to play. It’s not as graphically sound or as filled with features as what many other Netent products are, but it still provides a decent enough product to keep you entertained throughout. It’s icons are very thematically relevant and the whole game ties together in a nice presentation.
