Fruit has always played a big part in the history of slot games and this time around it’s the good old orange that is the star of the show. Mocha Orange is based on the refreshing drink and is going to get you really thirsty for success.

This is another of the Microgaming slot games that pay homage to the three-reelers that dominated the industry in years gone by. You will enjoy its simplicity in comparison to the more complicated ones in existence these days.

Orange All Over

With the game being called ‘Mocha Orange’, it’s no real surprise that the game is rather orange in its colour. There’s almost total domination here but a bit of purple added in gives the game an attractive look.

The reels are in the top left-hand corner of the screen and there is just the one pay-line to try and get wins on. The reels don’t dominate the screen like the five-reel games that you’re used to playing. There are six different symbols and only one of them is theme-related. No surprises again here as the one theme-related symbol is an orange. We also get the red 7’s, the single, double and triple bars and the bell makes a rare appearance.

Wild Orange

The orange is the most important symbol in this game and you’ll be longing to see as much of it as possible. Not just because it’s the highest paying symbol but it’s also the wild here. It can substitute for all the other symbols and the good news is that it has a multiplier attached to it. This means that when one wild completes a winning combination that win is doubled. If two manage to do that for you, then the win is quadrupled.

Chase the Jackpot

That orange will already be in your good books but it’ll stay there forever if three come along on the pay-line. The top prize in this game is 1600x your coin stake which means you could win a total of €8000 for a maximum stake of €10.

To be able to get your hands on the top prize, you have to be playing with two coins. The coin range in this game is the same as in several others of this type, namely €0.25 to €5  To set the amount you want to stake on each spin of the reels, just use the +/- button to do so. Then simply press either Bet One to play with one coin or go for Bet Max to play with the maximum of two. The minimum stake to play with a chance of winning the jackpot is €0.50 and the maximum €10,

Unlike in some of the Microgaming three-reel games, the top prize is 800x for one coin played and 1600x for two coins, so simply doubled rather than a bit higher an amount to try and lure you into playing with two coins.

Other wins in this game are 100x or 200x for three red 7’s and 50x or 100x for three triple bars. Remember that wild multiplier though, that can get you some higher paying wins.

Operating the game is rather straightforward with all the control buttons down the bottom of the screen. Another enjoyable three-reel slot from Microgaming, but not one that’s going to tax your mind. Everything about the game is simple and if you’re into games with bonus games and scatter symbols, this might disappoint you a bit. Don’t let that stop you playing it though, there are still some good wins to be had here, though the 1600x jackpot isn’t the largest around. The wild multiplier is handy though and if you’re new to slot games then this is a good introduction for you.
