Fruit Salad Slot Review

What would the slot world have done without fruit? Anyone who’s ever had a look at the history of these games will know just how much fruit has dominated the industry. Nowadays it might not be the case with all the movie and television themed games, but that’s not the case here.

If you’re feeling peckish, how about a fruit salad to fill you up. Well, perhaps not fill you up but it’s supposed to be healthy isn’t it. I’d rather have a bacon sarnie to be honest, but if the wins come along in this three-reel slot from Microgaming there’ll be no complaints.

Fruit Frenzy

‘Fruit Salad’ is probably one of the most colourful games that you’ll be playing for a while. It’s full of colour and does put a smile on your face when you see it. This game has three-reels and unlike some of the similar Microgaming slot games such as ‘Frost Bite’, this one has a total of three pay-lines.

There are three symbols that are theme-related but there could have been more to be fair. The top paying symbol is the Fruit Salad which is in a bowl. There’s also a dragon fruit symbol and a lemon. No sign of the cherries which is a bit strange as they appear in loads of other non-fruit related games.

The Fruit Bowl is also the wild symbol in this game and can substitute for other symbols to get you a winning combination. There’s a multiplier attached too and if one wild gets you a win it’s doubled and two will quadruple that win, so look out for this.

Salad Sensation

We do get to see one in the Fruit Salad logo that dominates the bottom left-hand corner of the screen (all the action is one screen here). It’s a colourful view for sure with some strawberries in there too. Best to play this when you’ve already eaten as it may well get you feeling a bit peckish.

You will find all the control buttons down at the bottom of the screen. There are two  decisions to make before spinning those reels. The first is your coin range and this goes from €0.25 up to €5. If you want a chance to win the top prize then you have to be playing all three coins. Each coin you play activates a pay-line and the top prize is paid on the third pay-line. There is an incentive to do that though. The top paying symbol is the fruit salad and on the first pay-line that rewards you 1500x, on the second pay-line it’s worth 3000x but if it crops up on the third pay-line you’ll be walking away with a 5000x win. Just work out a budget you can afford to play with and have fun playing this game.

Setting how many coins you want to play with is dead easy. Just keep pressing the Bet One button or go for Bet Max to play with all three.
