Burning Design

Loading Wild Fire Riches, you will first notice the lapping flames fighting over each other to the lower of the screen to be seen. There are stacks of golden coins sitting either side of the flames and look like the coins are placed in the middle of a volcano where nobody dear to venture – nobody but you that is.

If you are brave enough to spin the reels, you can win some burning amounts of cash. Symbols on the reels are; diamond, Wild Fire Riches logo, Wild Fire Riches wild, golden coin, golden hot dice, bank notes, casino chips, hot cauldron of cash, whopper wild and card values 9, 10, J, Q, K and A.

Hot Stats

The reels of the game are slightly different to what you are probably used to, there are 5 reels but reels 1 and 2 are three symbols high with reels 3, 4 and 5 being four symbols high. Beneath the reels is a message bar that shows you how you can win with the various symbols. Minimum stakes are 1.00 for all 100 paylines and 10,000 for maximum stakes.

The Wild Fire Riches logo is the non-progressive jackpot symbol – five of these awards 1,000,000 for betting maximum stakes. The next highest paying symbol is the golden coin and that offers just 10,000.

Smouldering Features

The scatter symbol is represented by the Wild Fire Riches logo and the Wild Fire Riches Wild symbol. Three or more will award a multiplier value and free spins.

Diamond is the wild and will replace other symbols (except the Wild Fire Riches symbols) to help form winning paylines. This symbol appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only.

If the Whopper Wild symbol appears on reel three during any of your spins, it will turn into a wild symbol. The reel turn into expanded reels when you trigger the Whopper Wild and you this will allow you to trigger some huge wins.

Eight free spins will be awarded for three or more scatter symbols appear on your reels. During this bonus, the symbols offered are lower in value and the paylines change.

What We Think

While we were very impressed with the potential of winning 1,000,000, we were less than impressed with the other value symbols on the reels. Take the non-progressive jackpot symbol out of the equation and the next high value symbol is the golden coin offering just 10,000 – that’s a break even on a 10,000 stake. Other symbols offer between 1,000 and 5,000 – so if you are a high roller betting 10,000 a turn – the only symbol that will give you a clear profit is the jackpot.

The free spins feature offers different paylines to the base game paylines along with lower value symbols. So, whilst you can win some great cash amounts with your free spins – you won’t win as much as those you’d find on a normal spin.

We found Wild Fire Riches to be a medium to high variance slot machine with a return to player (RTP) percentage of 94.13%.
