      Floridita Fandango Slot Review

A good cocktail or two always caps off a good evening but have you ever gone out drinking in Havana, Cuba? If you have, then you may well know the Floridita cocktail bar that was opened in 1817.

Apparently, its bartenders are pretty good at making some of the best cocktails out there. A few might put your head in a spin, but your concern in this slot game is to spin those reels and try to get some wins on its one pay-line.

      Have a Tipple

The three-reel games that Microgaming produce are often rather basic in their design. This one isn’t anything like the complicated games they release, but you can see a bit of thought and work has been put into it.

‘Floridita Fandango’ has an extremely colourful look to it. It’s dominated by the yellow Floridita Fandango logo in the bottom left hand corner of the screen which is above what looks a very tasty cocktail, one of their finest I imagine.

The all-important reels are above the logo and each one has a coloured frame. Sometimes with these three-reel games, there’s not that much adherence to the theme. Probably just one symbol with the rest being bars, 7’s or cherries. Here though there are three theme-related symbols and that’s good to see.

We get two different kinds of cocktails as the top three paying symbols in this game. I’m not sure what they are, I’m more a Hooch or pint of cider guy to be honest. Other symbols in the game include the cherries (again the lowest paying symbol) and single, double, and triple bars.

      Fruity Fun

The coin range for ‘this game goes from €0.25 to €5 which is fairly standard for these Microgaming releases. There’s only one pay-line so no worries on working out how many to play. What you do have to do is decide whether to play one, two or three coins. Setting this is easy, either keep pressing the Bet One button or use the Bet Max button to play with all three.

There is an incentive to be playing with all three coins. That’s because the top prizes can only be won with all three coins in play. When it comes to the top prize which is the orange cocktail. Three of those on the pay-line earn you 500x your line stake if playing with one coin. That rises to 1000x for two coins played and the incentive comes with a whopping 2500x if all three coins were played on that lucky spin of the reels. So, if you want to be in with a chance of winning the top prize the minimum stake is €0.75 and the maximum €15, Just gamble what you can afford to lose and enjoy the game.

Other big wins include either 80x, 160x or 240x for three of the purple cocktails and 40x, 80x or 120x for any mixture of the cocktail symbols.

      It’s Not Wild in Cuba

It’s a bit disappointing that the game doesn’t feature a wild symbol. That and the lack of a bonus game might put a few of you off, but this is still a game worth playing and ideal if you’re not that experienced at playing slot games.

The game can be played in regular or expert mode. What’s the difference? Not much really, the only one I can ever see is you can set an autoplay feature. Always a bit handy if you need a little break away from the screen but want to keep on playing. You can get either 5x or 10x automated spins or you can set your own level. This includes the ability to have the automated spins continue until a certain level win comes along or when your account balance reaches a particular amount.

      Is Fandango Fun?

Here’s a game that does have an attractive look to it but some good and bad points. The lack of bonus games and a wild is a bit of a let-down. I’m used to there not being bonus games but a wild is often present in these games. The incentive to use three coins to get the 2500x jackpot is good but don’t gamble what you can’t afford to lose.
