There’s not just a Diamond Deal in this three-reel slot from Microgaming, it’s a heck of a good deal all round. These three-reelers pay homage to the games we used to play in days gone by but this one has a touch of modern day play.

Not only does it have a wild symbol but there’s also a bonus game and that really is a rarity in these kind of games.

Diamond Delight

Diamonds are another popular theme that seem to keep cropping up in slot games. Here’s a another one and it’s a great game to play. There’s a rather blue look to this game with the night sky in the background with what could be twinkling stars or diamonds. The Diamond Deal logo can be seen in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen with a huge diamond underneath it.

The reels are above the Diamond Deal logo and there are two symbols that you’ll want to be keeping a very close eye on. The Diamond is the top paying symbol in this game and also the wild so you will be keen to see that as much as possible.

Wild Diamonds

The wild can substitute for all but one of the other symbols in this game. It can sub for the cherries, single, double and triple bars and the blue 7’s. That will help you get some winning combinations, particularly as you only need two cherries to get a win.

It can’t subsitute for the jewel box. That’s because as you’ll soon read, this plays a key part in triggering the bonus game in this slot.

Playing this game is a bit more expensive than some of the other slot games Microgaming produce, particularly three-reel ones. There’s a fixed coin level of €1. The only decision you have to make is how many coins to play on each spin of the reels. There are a maximum of three coins that can be played so the maximum cost here is only €3.

If you want to get your hands on the top prize in this game or get into the bonus game, you have to be playing all three coins on that spin. It’s just a question of working out how much you can afford to gamble.

The top prize here is 3000x your coin stake for three diamonds. There’s an incentive to be playing with three coins because with one coin the win is only 500x and 1000x with two coins. Other big wins in the game are 100x, 200x or 300x for three blue 7’s and 50x, 100x or 150x for three triple bars.

Bonus Box

Here’s where this game differs from the vast majority of the three-reel games Microgaming produce. In ‘Diamond Deal’ there’s actually a bonus game. It’s the jewel box symbol you need to look for. When that appears on the pay-line then it gets transferred to the diamond that is below the reels. Get four of those and into the bonus game you go. No free spins but there is a pick ’em game. You get to see five jewel boxes and your simple task is to choose one and reveal a winning amount.

Diamond Decision

This is an excellent game to play and it’s great to see both a wild symbol and a bonus game in a three-reeler. It’s a shame there’s no multiplier attached to the wild but you can’t have everything. Definitely recommended.
