Break Da Bank Again Slot Review

The popularity of Microgaming’s ‘Break Da Bank’ game left such an impression on the gaming world, that the developer decided to create a follow up, which will allow you to break the bank…again….

Yes, you’ll find that the game hasn’t changed so much from the original version, except this time it comes with stronger graphics quality and visually pleasing animations. The same kind of theme has been included in the game, meaning that you’ll need to work your way inside a huge vault, override and bypass the security systems, and then make your way out with as much of the cash as you possibly can. So, if you’ve played the first instalment, you’ll no doubt be ultimately familiar with this revamped sequel, shall we call it? Because altogether, it’s not so much a sequel as it is a remoulded version of the original game. But that’s okay. We’re all for developers updating and re-releasing products, so Break Da Bank Again isn’t going to receive any sort of backlash from us for its similarity to the first. Game play is still as easy as it was in the original game, and therefore, players don’t need to become accustomed to such drastic changes.

      Cash Aplenty

The great thing about this game is the fact that it presents you with visuals of cash and gold – which is, after all, what we’re playing slot games for, right? It’s all presented on a five reel and three row layout, although, as mentioned, when compared to the first release of this game, it’s all done in high quality graphics this time around. On the reels are various different symbols, starting with huge wads of cash, stacks of golden coins, and a cheque, which looks like it’s being written out for cashing a huge amount of money. There’s also a collection of gold ingots, as well as a sparkling purple gemstone. Each of these icons is also accompanied by the regular A, J, K, Q and 10 icons, which are offered up in a fairly standard design, although fit well enough in to the game.

Joining the reels, rows and icons, Microgaming have included a total of nine different pay lines, and gamers do have the chance to customise these as well. So, if you’re the sort of player who likes switching the pay lines around, you can do so with the ‘Lines’ button. Then, when it comes time to placing your wager, you can change this around as well. This is done firstly with relation to the value of a coin, which has a range between $0.01 and $0.25 per line. Then, you can also choose the amount of coins you’d like to bet per line, with a selection on offer between one and 10. Therefore, players are all able to place a maximum overall wager of $22.50 per spin.

      In-Game Specialities

There’s a couple of different special features included in this game, and this begins with the wild icon. This is represented by the game’s logo, and as a wild, it will substitute for any other symbol on the reels in order to form a winning combination. The only exception to this rule is the scatter symbol, and all wins with this icon working as a substitute included will pay out times five. During the freespins round, it will pay out times 25, if it is involved in a win.

And speaking of the freespins round, this is trigger by the game’s scatter symbol, which is the huge vault door. As a scatter, it can trigger the round from anywhere on the reels, but you’ll need to spin three or more in to view in order to activate it. Three scatters provide 15 freespins, four will provide 20 freespins and five scatters offer up a total of 25 freespins altogether. All wins during freespins pay out times five, and each scatter that appears will provide a single extra freespin.

Finally, at the end of every win during the base game, you’ll be given the opportunity to gamble your winnings. Click the gamble button to try doubling or even quadrupling the balance via a game of guessing the next colour or suit of playing card to be turned over.

      Better Than the Original?

It’s fairly obvious from the get go that this ‘sequel’ is better than the first released version, for sure. It doesn’t differ greatly, but it differs enough to be considered an alternative game. The special features are quite average on the whole, but without a doubt, it will prove to be as appealing as the first Break Da Bank.
